What started out as a day of gray skies and light rain turned into this, on my first go of 17-Mile Drive. I can't say enough how inspiring the scenery is, it's simply unparalleled.

I also shot these trees in b/w medium format film and look forward to seeing how they turn out.

the famous 18th hole of the Pebble Beach Golf link. The rate is $495; someday I'll gift a round of golf here to my husband.

The flowers in California are amazing. I've never actually really explored 17-mile drive except to visit the Lodge a few times and drive thru maybe once, so this is fun to see!

Rose: I didn't feel like we took a thorough tour of the drive (in a hurry since in-laws were flying out that afternoon) so eventually I'd like to go back. I'm so glad the sun came out during the drive, the scenery looks so much better when it's sunny!
